I write music everyday. I know I am very lucky to do so, so I do my best to work very hard.

I often put bands and ensembles together to play my music. You can hear some of my many projects on this page.

I've been privileged to receive support for my composing from the Canada Council and the Conseil des Arts et des Lettres du Québec, and for my recordings from the Foundation for Assisting Canadian Talent on Recordings (FACTOR).

I'm also a pianist - I can do jazz, Chopin, 80s pop, whatever (though my tastes definitely skew towards the first half of that list). On Saturdays I improvise waltzes all day long for ballet classes.

I teach piano lessons as well. I love teaching kids, but adults are fun too.

I was born in the Bronx, raised in Saskatoon, and have lived in Montreal since 2002.
